HIGHLIGHTS
A Few Examples of Motion Graphics Created for Frontier Dental’s Website and Social Media.
CONTEXT
Where the Brand Stands Before
The message was loud and clear
Frontier Dental’s digital presence relied primarily on static visuals. While the content communicated information clearly, it did not fully leverage the engagement potential of modern digital platforms.
Today’s audiences are accustomed to motion-driven content that captures attention quickly. This presented an opportunity to enhance the brand’s visual communication by introducing purposeful motion design across its digital ecosystem.

Pinpointing the problems
The objective was to elevate Frontier Dental’s digital presence by making both the website and social media platforms more engaging and visually distinctive.
The project aimed to create a modern visual experience that strengthens brand recognition, captures audience attention, and differentiates the company in a competitive digital landscape.
THE PROBLEM
Static Visuals in a Dynamic World.
A pile-up of constraints
Digital platforms are increasingly saturated with content, and static graphics often struggle to compete with motion-driven visuals in crowded feeds.
Additionally, every animation needed to be optimized for minimal file size while maintaining smooth performance. This required balancing visual quality with technical efficiency to ensure fast loading times and seamless playback across devices.
Reduced Brand Recognition
Pinpointing the problems
Misaligned Visual Experience
Website animations and icons were not fully aligned with brand guidelines, and the lack of interaction and motion made the experience feel static and unengaging, reducing visual appeal and weakening brand perception.

THE CHALLENGE
The challenge was to create motion graphics that captured attention and increased engagement while remaining fully aligned with the company’s brand guidelines. Animations also needed to be lightweight, scalable, and adaptable for use across multiple digital platforms.
THE SOLUTION
From Concept to Continuous Evolution.
You gotto start somewhere
The project instructions were initially delivered through email in an unconventional format. To make the process more manageable, I organized the instructions into a structured workflow.
Breaking the project into six stages helped reduce cognitive load and created a clear path from concept development to final delivery.
Finding structure amidst the chaos
To make sense of an otherwise unconventional set of instruction, I started by exploring ways to foster a perceived sense of progress.
Shown in Figure below, categorizing instruction into 6 stages helped mitigate the cognitive load of seeing all the instructions at once.
Pinpointing the issue
Draft animations were presented for review to identify potential usability and perception issues from the client’s perspective. This stage focused on evaluating motion clarity, pacing, visual hierarchy, and alignment with brand guidelines.
Structured feedback helped refine the animations to ensure they were visually engaging, technically optimized, and effective in communicating key messages across digital platforms.
THEN
NOW
Realigning Design Through Motion
All graphics were redesigned to fully align with Frontier Dental’s brand guidelines, improving visual consistency across digital platforms. Static visuals were transformed into purposeful motion graphics that enhanced clarity, captured attention, and strengthened the brand’s digital presence.
Animations were designed not just for visual appeal but to support communication by guiding the viewer’s attention and emphasizing key information.
KEY DISCOVERY
Clear alignment on brand guidelines, expectations, and feedback early in the process significantly accelerated project delivery. Establishing this clarity reduced revision cycles and ensured a smoother and more efficient rollout of motion graphics across digital platforms.
THE RESULT
Where Strategy Meets Movement.
From Passive Viewing to Active Engagement
The introduction of motion graphics significantly improved Frontier Dental’s digital presence across its platforms. By replacing static visuals with purposeful animation, the brand’s content became more visually engaging and easier for audiences to notice in fast-moving social media feeds. The redesigned motion graphics also strengthened visual consistency across platforms while maintaining alignment with the company’s brand guidelines.
Social Media Now
+85% Increase in Viewership & Engagement
The implementation of motion graphics contributed to an 85% increase in viewership and engagement, particularly on Instagram. Animated visuals captured attention more effectively than static graphics, helping the brand reach a wider audience and encouraging more interaction with its content.

Strategic Impact
Motion graphics transformed the brand’s digital communication from static updates into dynamic visual experiences. Instead of simply presenting information, the animated content guided viewers’ attention and created a more engaging way for audiences to interact with the brand.
KEY INSIGHT
Motion design is most effective when guided by a clear structure and strong brand alignment. By ensuring every animation served a purpose, the project demonstrated how thoughtful motion graphics can improve clarity, strengthen brand identity, and drive measurable engagement.
